East London Brewing Company

We are delighted to have ales delivered to us this week from a local microbrewery = the East London Brewing Company - which is just a few miles down the road. Established in 2011, they are passionate about beer and about celebrating brewing as one of the many wonderfully diverse, creative and innovative traditions of East London.

They've delivered to us their Foundation Bitter which is one of their original brews and also a London classic. It's an amber best bitter, with a good balance of maltiness and a refreshingly crisp bitter finish, flavoured with a blend of English and New Zealand hops. ABV 4.2%.

Also with us is their ELB Pale Ale which is a crisp, lighter ale with a subtle bitterness and a fruity perfumed aroma. At 4% ABV, it's an excellent session beer.
